April earned her RN from Southwestern Community College and BSN from San Diego State University, Her nursing background includes ICU, PCU, Urgent Care, and Hospice & Palliative Care. 

She enjoys empowering her patients to find new ways to maintain their health and foster a stronger connection to their bodies while encouraging a good balance between work and personal life, controlling stress, and enhancing their overall health and wellness.

When she is not working, she spends her free time with her four children and husband of 19 years watching the SD Padres while continuing her education to be a Family Nurse Practitioner.
